Ballet / Modern I I / INTERMEDIATE I
Ages 9 and Up
Wednesdays, 6pm-7:30pm
Students continue with a more formal study of classical ballet technique and develop self-discipline necessary for the transition into the Modern Dance Training. Taught once a week for 90 minutes. Each class is limited to 15 students.

Pink or white Canvas Ballet Slippers) Dance is one of the few arts in which we ourselves are the material and every dancer becomes the ultimate artist, creating his or her own work. Young artists will study and enjoy various forms including Classical Ballet, Tap, Creative Movement, Modern, and Ethnic Dance. Be sure to attend the Annual Student Recital at the end of the program.
THE CURRICULUM
Students enrolling in the Children’s Division must meet the appropriate age requirement by September 1st of the current school year.

Ages 2 1/2 thru 3 yrs. 11 months Tuesdays
6 pm-6:45 pm
Designed for the youngest students, this class stresses coordination, large motor skills development, musical awareness, spatial awareness, and listening skills.
Musical instruments such as drums, rhythm sticks, shakers, tambourines, along with age appropriate activities, help engage the students’ attention and imagination. Taught once a week for 45 minutes. Each class is limited to 16 students. An adult/parent must participate in this class.

Thursdays 6-7 pm
Creative Movement focuses on coordination, motor skills development, listening skills, and the development of a child’s natural creativity. Musical awareness is enhanced with instruments. Taught once a week for 60 minutes. Each class is limited to 16 students.
